Import issues from Jira cloud to Big Picture Enterprise

Andy Atkinson May 2, 2022

Hi.

I am trying to import issues from a Jira cloud project into Big Picture Enterprise (BPE) I am using the scope definition dialogue in BPE, but don't know how to configure it correctly. I get to the point where I have selected the jira Project from the list provided, but nothing happens when I hit save. The dialogue tries to save only when I select something from the Filter list.

Can some point me at the documentation for how to correctly use this dialogue / import tool? Or perhaps proivde a worked example / step by step instructions.

The jira project I am importing from is present and correct, with a well formed backlog, no active sprints, and is visible in jira roadmaps.

What am I doing wrong?

TIA

Andy

Hi @Andy Atkinson

Welcome to the Community!

In the Scope definition, you can specify what range of tasks is included in the scope of a given Program. The App gives you a lot of flexibility; you can include multiple Jira projects or only some tasks that meet your specifications. The flexibility of the setup ensures that a Box can be configured to contain exactly the tasks you need to fit your work.

Here, you will find a comprehensive description of scope synchronization rules in our wiki
