Import larger project using CSV

I need to import a projectfrom partners JIRA instace to our JIRA Data Server instance.

The project is large (comparing our other project) - 7000 tickets and 524 fields.

I managed to export the tickets , had to do several exports.

Problem is with import. I prepard first set for import - 1000 ticets with 534 fields. Majority (400+) of field are Comments and  Worklog. While testing, I did mapped ca 100 fields. When starting the next step after field mapping I got error   jira.importer.plugin.csv.field.mapping.page.too.many.mappings.values   that is descriebed in ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-62597

What are the other  options to import larger project vit CSV?

Hi @Toomas Adson ,

You can try to import it via project import, but you'll have to configure the project exactly as it is configured in the source system.

More about that can be found here.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver085/restoring-a-project-from-backup-981155529.html

Alternatively, you can use an app like Configuration Manager for Jira to migrate the project.

Configuration Manager could be solution, but in current case it would have to be bought, but the cost is not accepted by our organisation.

So I need to find other options.   Will look the backup.

One option is importing the issues in smaller amonts  but what would be the limitation for data object in total 100 issues - 500 fiealc each makes 50 000 .
