I have created templates to enable the import of test scenarios into Jira. Many of these test scenarios have dependencies, so have to be done before/after another specific test. I can manually link these using the "has to be done after" or has to be done before" link type. However, I am inputting around 1000 test scenarios so this is a massive job to be done manually.
When using the CSV import tool, the only options for importing Links are as follows:
Does anyone know why the link types are limited to this short list when importing? Is there a way to get around this?
no answer - same problem.
The import option doesn't seem to allow you to specify inward or outward despite naming the columns with the exact nomenclature of when they are exported (i.e. Inward..., Outward...).

So I'm able to create 'has to be done before' link during import.
I CANNOT create a 'has to be done after' link during import.
This seriously undermines the import benefits since I would have to go into everyone of those tickets, manually identify the 'has to be done after' ticket, then create the link.
Does anyone have any suggestions here?
Dear Bethany,
Link "Gantt End to Start" corresponds to
"has to be done after" / "has to be done before"
You can see this in Administration >> Issues >> Issue Linking.Yours,
