I want to import data from one jira account another jira account with all issues, fields and data.
Data are imported but all fields are not coming, just like comments, estimation, status, bug type are not imported.
Please assist on it.
@avinashstpl Welcome to the community !
If you are using CSV import for data importing then..
1. for adding comment --> you need to use the user account ID or the email address for the user that you want to import.
2. estimation --> ensure that the estimation in the seconds and map it to the correct field like "Original Estimate".
3. Status --> You need to map the CSV header with the Status field and while mapping the field it will show the target status so that you can select (if not there then you can create).
4. Bug type --> Are you talking about the work type bug OR custom field? if its a work type then you need to map the work type header with the correct work type and if its custom field then select the appropriate custom field while mapping.
Follow https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-a-csv-file/ article for more details.
We have to import the data to this URL to https://litxchange.atlassian.net/jira/your-work
from exported CSV file of this https://stpl.atlassian.net/jira/your-work
We have tried but still not able to do it as many fields are not matching.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Then i think you dont have the correct permission. as mentioned by @Nikola Perisic i assume you have imported the csv using issues section but not from the settings.
To see all the fields you need to have Jira admin/site admin permission.
