In-app notifications has stopped work

I have my JIRA linked up with my Confluence, has been working perfectly fine but today Confluence has stopped receiving notifications from JIRA. I have looked into the in-app notifications set up and it is all fine. 

Any suggestions?

Our DC had the same issue and it started to happen after recent Jira restart. Our fix was to restart both Jira & Confluence and then the new in-app notifications in Confluence for Jira updates started to appear again.

@Amanda Hollidge , I have to assume that this has been resolved by now. If so and you recall what was done to resolve it it would be great if you could share it here. If by chance this issue is still happening with you please provide more detail about what’s going on. Particularly if you are on Cloud or server.
