Incoming Mail Sever Fails on JIRA Cloud

Daniel Farrugia December 4, 2018

I am trying to setup an incoming mail server for JIRA cloud.  I set up the office 365 host on SECURE_IMAP on port 993.  I set up an email account specifically for this reason.  I think I need to load the office 365 certificate? I don't know how to do this on JIRA cloud and I can't find a specific article or place to configure this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Daniel,

It is with quite a delay, just making sure you have it all sorted.

So normally, if you just want to connect your mailbox to be used by Jira for incoming email processing - you need to specify credentials:

a. For Jira Core here:
https://<instance_name>.atlassian.net/secure/admin/IncomingMailServers.jspa

b. For JSD in "Email requests" section.

Let me know if it is all good.

Thanks,
Vasily
