Incompatible message shown for jira software version> 8.0.0 when uploading plugin through manage app

Hi,

When I upload atlassian plugin jar on jira software>8.0.0, I get Incompatible message just after uploading plugin, but all functionalities work fine.Also, for jira software<8.0.0,I dont get this incompatible message.

How can I remove this incompatibility message from jira software.

Dear  the version supports only up to version 8.So you are getting that message.

Yes, Thanks for your quick analysis,I am aware of that.How can I add more versions here to make it compatible,please suggest.

Also do I need to make any changes in plugins'code or something to be done on atlassian's end? considering the fact that all functionalities are working fine.

Do I have to create a new release, to make later versions compatible?

This is jira-xlrelease-integration plugin from xebialabs(now digital.ai)
