Individual Log Work Tracking

Rahul

We  have stories and multiple sub-tasks assigned to different  assignee's under each story. We estimate at story level and each assignee log their work at story level.

Multiple assignee's logging their work in single story.

How can I display each assignee time log in dashboard or report?

Hi @Rahul,

I am Marlene from codefortynine.

Another option would be our Jira cloud app Quick Filters for Jira Dashboards.

Our app comes with a set of dashboard gadgets, with advanced functionality. E.g. you can sum up work logs (and any other Jira number field) with our statistics gadgets. For your use case I would recommend to work with the Two Dimensional Filter Statistics gadget.

It is also possible to filter the gadget dynamically, so you could create a filter to only display subtasks or the results of one assignee.

Hi @Rahul

You can use Jira Rest APIs to pull this data. Or you can use a mktplace app to achieve the detailed reporting. If you are open for the same you can have a look at :

Worklogs Time Reports

The app allows to track time spent by resources with multiple filters / category / grouping features. Do try it out.

Hi,

I don't think this can be done with build-in features of Jira Cloud. There are a lot of marketplace apps which can do user and story level grouping of worklog. As a vendor, I want to recommend our own app, WorklogPRO - Timesshets for Jira. It lets you filter, group worklogs according to your criteria. You can check list of all capabilities on our wiki. It is developed with Forge platform of Atlassian and for this reason, even as a vendor we don't have access to your data. It is also a cloud fortified app.

Hi @Rahul

you might consider using time-tracking apps that in most cases have a customizable report of tracked time on issues.

I can recommend our Clockwork Automated Time Tracking & Timesheets Pro app, which offers you the possibility to review timesheets and create reports that can be configured in various ways using break-down and filtering options. In your case you can simply choose what project you would like to include in the timesheet and choose users which you would like to see.

We've recently added an option to create Teams and use it to filter the data in the timesheet.

This way you can quickly see how much time was spent on a specific project, and team.

Please find below the sample of how the timesheet looks like:
