I am trying to install on the same computer (Windows Server 2016 Datacenter) JIRA CORE (ver.7.9.0-x64), Confluence (Ver.6.7.2-x64) and Crowd (Ver. 3.2.1) in a production environment . Versions of JAVA are, JDK 1.8.0_172 (32 and 64 bits) JRE 1.8.0_172 (32 and 64 bits). The order of installation of the applications has been 1- Crowd 2- Confluence 3- JIRA I can not get all 3 applications to work simultaneously. Crowd and Confluence have settled as a service, not JIRA. Can you help me? What information do you need? Thank you.
After many attempts, I have managed to make the three programs installed simultaneously as services, Jira has also been installed as a service and it works as well. The solution I found it replacing the tomcat executable that was installed by default (tomcat8.exe.x64) by tomcat8.exe. To make no changes to the configuration of the service, which referred to tomcat8.exe.x64, I used tomcat8.exe and renamed it tomcat8.exe.x64.
What happens when you run all three Applications simultaneously?
Can you give us more informations like log entries?
Here is the documentation to learn how to run Jira as service: Running JIRA applications as a Windows service
Cheers
Niklas
