Hi Team ,
below error is showing in our jira server .Please check and support how can we resolve this issue .
Checks if there is enough free space to backup and restore index.
Low disk space on device containing temporary directory (/opt/atlassian/jira/temp) - 36 GB of free space remaining. Index backup and recovery may fail.
Hi @sachin kumar ,
please check disk space on the server. Jira can't store indexes because there is no free space available.

You need one of the server admins to go look at the disk, and see what is consuming all the space.
If it's application data you need (Jira's database or attachments for example), then the server admins are going to have to get you a bigger disk. Or you could start deleting old stuff you don't need from Jira.
If it's something else, then they probably need to do some housekeeping. Within Jira's directories, they may find huge swathes of logs, or many of the regular XML backups - delete the older ones you don't need, and implement some log rotation, or turn off the regular xml backup (you are doing backups by copying the attachments and taking a backup of the database regularly right?). There could be other things chewing up the space out side Jira as well.

Yes, check that there is enough space on the server. This may help too: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/health-check-free-disk-space-local-home-993920185.html
