I'm not sure if Jira can connect with Power BI through REST API, however, it seems that Power BI already has a content pack that integrates with JIRA.
To connect to the JIRA content pack, simply choose JIRA from the list of available content packs. You will be asked to provide your JIRA URL and credentials. Once the connection has completed, Power BI will automatically create an out-of-the-box dashboard, report, and dataset with data from JIRA.

Sorry, new to this, but I'm not following "choose JIRA from the list of available content packs." How exactly do you do this? In PBI, under the gear, View Content Pack, I don't have any.

With the content pack all the fields are not into Power BI report, cutom fields shows only few records.
any idea how can sync all the fields to the POwer BI report?
