Integrate tableau tool with jira cloud

We are migrating from Jira on prem to cloud.problem is that - we are using tableau as reporting tool on top of postgre sql which is getting synched from jira onprem DB. Once we migrate to cloud,how much synch up this postgre DB with jira cloud? Anyone worked on aimilar situation or can help how this be handled

I am not a migration expert, though I will share my thoughts here - may be they'll be somehow helpful to you.

From what I understand, with on-premise Jira you use your DB to pull data into Tableau. After migration to Cloud, you'll probably not have a DB to pull data from.

You may take a look at the Atlassian Data Lake (if you expect to have Premium Jira Cloud). Here are some information regarding this: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/announcements/atlassian-analytics 

As an alternative, as you'll anyway have to configure the datasets from scratch after the migration, you can consider using the app to fetch data from Jira Cloud to Tableau.
