Integrating JIRA/Confluence with other company domain

hemalatha November 22, 2018

I work with the PM of my customer company.  We both work on same project.  He has JIRA licence under his entity and i have under my company name.  Can i provide access to him for my project on JIRA/Confluence ?

Hi, Hemalatha.

Project access / space permission is granted to users who are in the same user base of the JIRA / Confluence instance that you are in. A very detailed explanation is provided in the Share Jira with external partners article which explains the need to have 2 or more external directories such as Crowd / LDAP / AD to manage users in JIRA (as well as Confluence).

In the example given in the article:

All people who access Jira need to be a member of the built-in group, jira-users
