Hi, I am thinking of attaching a pipeline log from cloud watch logs to Jira issue can it be done??
Do we have  any method to attach the pipeline logs to Jira issue??

Can we Integrate Jira with AWS for the code pipeline status notification in Jira?

Hi @Hemanth Gowda M , welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Yes, conceptually it is possible to integrate AWS services with the Jira Open DevOps experience, we (Utoolity) have explored this for our Codegeist 2021 submission Develop with AWS (Jira).

However, as outlined in sections 'How we build it' and 'Challenges we run into', it turned out to be considerably more complex than expected, not the least because we "underestimated the complexity of mapping [AWS resource types, tags, and events] to the applicable Open DevOps API schemas", which requires us to "implement a custom event mapping pipeline for each supported AWS resource type".

We now aim to publish this solution as a (reasonably priced) commercial app, please refer to our Develop with AWS landing page for the initial feature scope and mid-term product vision.

Unfortunately a public release in the Atlassian Marketplace is still blocked by the missing Jira Software data provider support in Forge (FRGE-472), please vote on this issue to raise Atlassian's awareness of resp. use cases and demand.

Of course, if you are only looking to build a narrowly scoped inhouse solution, using the  mentioned workaround via the Jira OAuth integration for on-premises tools might be perfectly sufficient.

Cheers,
Steffen
