Integration of Katalon Studio with Jira

Hi all.

To integrate Katalon Studio with Jira, it requires server URL to connect. How do I get this url?

I tried with https://infinitium.atlassian.net/, this is where I arrive at the login page.

I also tried URL which directs to projects, but still not working.

Hi, I manage to integrate. Just a missing plugin. However, I am unable to report any bug to Jira as it is too slow.

I am supposed to be directed to the project, report bug page, with auto populated fields from Katalon Studio, when I submit the bug from KS.

However, I stayed at the Dashboard page.

I had talked to the moderator on this. He replied that it is due to location issue, as he managed to submit a bug in Jira, after I lent an account to him for testing. So, nothing can be done to solve it.

@Chua Au Mei  Sorry to message again but I have one more thought, were you using single sign on for your JIRA project? We are and we think this is what is causing the issue when trying to authenticate in Katalon, did you have a similar problem?

It looks like you have Jira Cloud (infinitium.atlassian.net), but Katalon only supports Jira Server - https://docs.katalon.com/katalon-studio/docs/install-and-use-katalons-jira-add-on.html

The add-on is listed at Atlassian Marketplace. Currently, we only suport JIRA server. To install the add-on, please follow Atlassian’s instruction.

Have a chat to the Katalon community and see if anyone is working on a Jira Cloud integration.

Thanks for  your reply. I had consulted Katalon Community Chat, he said that Jira Cloud can be integrated.

So, where can I get my Server URL ya? Thanks in advance. Appreciate your help.

You will need to ask Katalon what they expect you to put in.

The short answer to "what server url do I need" is "https://infinitium.atlassian.net/", but it sounds like Katalon needs something else.  You will need them to explain what that is, we can't guess.
