Integration with Slack - incorrect reporter / user

I have a problem with the incorrect reporter being sent through to the Slack notification from Jira

It is always the same person, regardless of who creates the Jira task. Any help will be much appreciated!

Hi @GM , can you share more context i.e is the task created manually using the "create" button or is it created automatically using the Automation from a certain trigger? You may also want to find out if "Gus" as the user is an Admin that may have restricted this for Slack integrations? I could be wrong but please share some more information on how the integration is setup, which platform, which product i.e. JSW or JWM and the type of project etc. :)

I have found the answer. We had a number of Authorized users in the config, and by allowing only the Jira integration user, this has resolved the problem.
