Intermittant problems authenticating users with LDAP?

We are connecting LDAP to AD and have intermittant problems authenticating users, works most of the time. Any suggestions?

I thought we had this bug, but it actually ended up being an ip conflict. There was another VM on our network that was trying to use the same IP as the JIRA server, and it manifested only in the form of intermittent LDAP connection failures.

Did you resolve this issue? It's possible we have the same problem with the JIRA 4.4.3.

Please clarify it. What product? LDAP = Lightweight Bla Bla, AD = MS implementation of LDAP, so you cannot connect LDAP to AD.
