Investigate the API for checking sites using the new payment system

We’re looking for a way (via API or other method) to detect whether a particular Atlassian site is using the new user-based billing system.

This would help us apply conditional logic during installation or promotion flows.

After reviewing the latest documentation as of May 2025, we couldn’t find any official API that provides this information.

Is there any API, internal tool, or workaround that can help with this?

The feature request CLOUD-11223 "Ability to pull billing info and basic usage via API" is tracking the request, and you can add your vote there.
