Is JIRA 6.0 On Demand compatible with Zephyr 1.7 for JIRA???

Hi Harsha,

There are two main plug-ins for OnDemand which relate to Zephyr. I suspect this is where the confusion occurs.

The first is Zephyr for JIRA, the plugin integrates Zephyr directly in an JIRA instance:

The Zephyr for JIRA plugin is not available for OnDemand currently and as you mentioned in the response there is no current timeline for this integration.

The second is Zephyr Enterprise Connector, the plugin requires either Zephyr Enterprise or Community Edition.

The Zephyr Enterprise Connector plugin is available to be enabled from your OnDemand instance via the gear icon > 'Add-ons' > 'Manage Add-ons' and typing 'zep' into the search bar. Just remember the plugin that is available in OnDemand requires you to have Zephyr Enterprise or Community Edition. I believe this is what the support person you spoke with was trying to indicate.

I mailed Zephyr for the same and i got the following reply:-

Unfortunately, not yet and we do not have a timeline of when that will be possible.

We also have our other product – Zephyr Enterprise Edition – which is a standalone test management platform with full integration to both JIRA Download and JIRA On-Demand.

For OnDemand add-ons, all you need to do is to enable them. They are the right version already.

That means, we have Zephyr for JIRA plug-in available for JIRA 6.0 On Demand?

I'm not sure if it is the add on or just the integration only. You have to test it out yourself as I do not have an instance.
