Is Jira Server Mobile App for Cloud Instance only?

Is Jira Mobile app (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/jira-server-mobile-app-966063511.html)  only for Jira cloud instances only? Not for Jira server instance?

Thanks for your question! The beta for the Jira Server mobile app is now finished. Jira 8.3 will be released in the coming weeks where the Jira Server mobile app will also be released to the public app stores. Please note that the app will only support Jira 8.3 and above.

We support Jira Software fields, however if there have been other custom fields added, especially though 3rd party plugins, they may not be supported.

Does it work for Service Desk projects?

Following the beta, we had to make the decision to exclude Service Desk functionality to increase robustness of the public Jira mobile app.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and needs, we really appreciate this. We understand that this is important to help you and your teams work on the go and we're currently exploring how best to provide the JSD experience on the go with the mobile app.
