Is Post-Function Order Respected?

In DataCenter the post-function order is respected and we have built many workflows predicated on that assumption where, for example, Post-Function 2 is dependent on the result of Post-Function 1.

I'm being told that in Jira Cloud the order is not respected and all of the post-functions run essentially at the same time.

Is this accurate? Has anybody found a solution with post-functions? Unfortunately Automation is not an option for the specific scenario because the automation delay will cause issues presenting inaccurate options to users.

Hey Mathew,

 

In Jira cloud, the post functions are executed in parallel. If you're open to using 3rd party apps, you can consider using JWME which offers this functionality.
