On supported platforms section I have found it supports SQL Server 2012. Is this means SP1 is also supported? We are getting "Database Locked" exception when trying to install JIRA using a newly installed database.

They haven't updated the Supported Platforms page for 7.3, so I would open a support issue to be sure.
