Is is possible to export data from a Core dashboard widget based on filtered results?

We have pre-set filters used to populated dashboards to track issues.  The dashboard settings contain the fields we wish to see in the order we wish to use them.  Is there any way to export a CSV or XLSX straight from the dashboard, without going through the main search page which adds more fields in a different order?

Hey Ellen,

It's not possible to export to CSV/XLSX directly from dashboard gadgets. There was a suggestion ticket but it was not implemented:

• JRASERVER-21095 - Export data (to excel) from gadgets

As mentioned in How to export JIRA dashboard to PDF file ?, you may want to export to PDF instead.

Other than that, from Issue Navigator, you can hide the columns that you don't want before performing an export, then choose to export current fields only.
