Is it necessary to get a paid version of jira?

I am new to Jira and still learning, is it important to get a paid version of the application? what are the benefits and differences?

Hi @Rehma , If your requirement is for less than 10 users, Jira software is free for less than 10 users and no credit card or any payment is required.

Paid version comes with three different tier, standard, premium and enterprise and all the tiers has its own features and benefits.

Hi @Rehma It is good to have a paid version of Jira where you could do a lot more. Please scroll down on the page below to see a feature comparison. Pick the plan that would best suit your need. If you are using it only to play around and see if it fits, try a free version. But for actual usage, a paid plan would do wonders. Hope this helps!
