Is it possible in JIRA Cloud to import custom field values/add validation rules from a SQL database?

I would like to know if it's possible to setup field values that are imported from a SQL database?

If you are still looking for a solution, you might be interested in participating in the Elements Connect Cloud beta program. Elements Connect allows you to connect outside data (like from a SQL database) to custom fields in Jira.
