Is it possible to add a custom column/field that is editable within Confluence itself?

I'm creating a template in Confluence for running Sprint Review meetings. For each occurrence of the meeting, I'll create a Confluence page from this template.

On the Confluence page:

  • I want to be able to Display a list of issues based on a JIRA Query Language (JQL) search, filter or URL
  • Let's assume the JQL returns 3 fields (say, DESCRIPTION, SIZE, STATUS) for all issues in the Sprint Backlog
  • In addition to the above, I need to a column (with a column header, say, DEMO) indicating whether the item will be demonstrated or not. I'll enter 'Yes'/'No' in this column in the confluence page, manually, for each issue

Finally I'll send the page to participants.

Is it possible to add a custom column/field that is editable within Confluence itself?

Currently Confluence only reads Jira data and does not allow you to update Jira data in Confluence.  There is not any apps that I know of that allow this.  The only thing I think you could do is build a custom app to execute perform this function but it might be a heavy load if you want to keep security in place.
