Is it possible to archive in the cloud in jira?

Archiving a project is a feature for Premium and Enterprice plans. Take a look here https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/archive-a-project/

Welcome to the community!

You will need to have a cloud premium subscription in over to have access to the archiving feature.

Outside of that, if you want to keep the data around you can simply change the permission scheme to remove the Browse Projects permission to that project, and no one will be able to access it.
