Hello @Bo Yuen

Welcome to the community.

Jira does not natively provide functionality to allow you to select an Epic to clone and have it automatically also clone all the child issues and all the sub-tasks in those issues. There are third party apps in the Marketplace that provide such functionality.

Natively, you can select an issue to clone and get prompted to also clone the sub-tasks. Cloning an Epic does not support asking you if you want to clone the child issues also.

The Clone action that you can see under the ... menu for an individual issue does not let you push the clone into a different project automatically. Instead in that case the clone is made in the same project and you have to select the Move action to move the issue to the other project.

There is a "Clone issue" action in the Automation feature that lets you clone an issue directly to a new project. Again, this does not inherently clone all child issues also. But I think you might find posts here from how others have tried to use the Automation feature to try to implement a multi-layered clone like you are seeking.

I Bo - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

We use an add-on called Deep Clone to do that. Works great!

Hello, @Bo Yuen ; If you have the correct permissions, you can have the option to clone an issue, of course. In the option list (where you can have the option to delete, etc), you can see the clone option.
