Is it possible to customize the log work window? (Data Center)

Hi,
Is it possible to customize the log work window? For example, can an optional field such as support effort or developer effort be made? or how can I categorize the efforts I spend?

Hi you will need to make a transition screen and include the log work field; then on that screen you can set defaults or add custom fields. Then in the workflow use that as a transition screen.

I would recommend writing code to alter the default time tracking layout since it is a global field--and of course in the market place there are apps that will help customize it beyond this basic solution.
