Is it possible to directly add objects to a project?

Weronika Witkowska Adm August 6, 2019

Hello dear community,

i currently work on the integration of the Insight add-on in our environment.

We have many Products which we normally connected to projects via their product code, but now want to do it with the help of objects. The only way I know how we could do it would be to reference the project in the object's attribute. But the problem is that we have multiple products that are part of one project and we would have to connect each of them separately. And each product can be part of multiple project, which means that we would have to create a new attribute for each project. That would increase the workload, not decrease it.

So my question is whether it is possible to add objects to a project more conveniently. Maybe there is a good way I don't know about.

Thank you

Hi Weronika,

The current feasible way is to add a project attribute per object as you described on an attribute.

However, you can setup the Cardinality of your project attribute to be the number you want. In that sense, you can setup multiple projects / object (or vice versa) ;)

Cheers!
