Is it possible to enable Code in Jira if we do not have Bitbucket in the cloud?

I am interested in the new Code in Jira feature how ever I do not see any documentation that says that it will work with an On Premises installation of BitBucket. Can someone confirm if this can be done at all?

Thanks for the Confirmation Mikael. As Bitbucket server is not a third party will this be supported at a future date?

At the moment Code in Jira is only supporting Bitbucket Cloud according to the article posted earlier this week. They will add support for other 3rd parties in the future.
