Is it possible to have a filter(Component) after the gadget has been added?

Dear Atlassian Community,

I have a dashboard for an entire Business Unit that cover all main asset which is component/s in JIRA. I would like to be able to filter the gadget based on the component/s so I do not need to create more than 50 dashboard. I just need one and be able to filter.

Hi Adriano and welcome to the Community!

Gadgets are typically based off filters so if you adjust the filter itself to use the component, it will change the gadget results.  

You can also use the base filter to build upon for additional gadgets.
