Hi Team,
I have a project in JIRA at a team level within which i have created multiple Initiatives. Each initiative will have its own epics, User stories and tasks etc. These initiative have different start and end dates.
Is it possible for me to have different sprints for different initiatives.
My setup is something like this.
Sales Group - Parent
Direct Marketing campaign - Initiative 1
Online Digital marketing - Initiative 2
Initiative 1 and Initiative 2 will have a different start and finish date.
My need is to have Individual sprints for Initiative 1 and Initiative 2.
I am not sure, I have explained it clearly. Let me know if any one has come across this or is there a better way to set up.
Thanks
Jana
Hello @Janarthanan Selvaraj
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
You can definitely have different sprints for the lowest level issues in your various Initiatives. Have you tried to do that and found that it did not work?
Do you want to have different sprints in one project and be able to have multiple sprints active simultaneously? There is a global setting that has to be enabled by your Jira Admins to allow multiple sprints to be active simultaneously in a Scrum board.
Welcome to our Community.
To meet your requirement, I think you need to switch to the Company-managed project. Then create multiple boards with different Jira issues in board filter to run different sprints as you want.
Hope it helps,
Thanks,
