On my issue type subtask, I want to hide the checklist panel (from addon Issue Checklist Pro).
I use checklist for stories and task, but not for subtask.
And right now, I have an empty checklist in every other type
I saw on global setting an option for that, but I keep it disabled like the description said and it's not working, I still have the empty checklist.
Is there something I'm missing ?
I'm with HeroCoders, the team behind Issue Checklist Pro (and Free too :) ).
@Bill Sheboy is right that it is currently impossible to select which issue types display checklists, but you were on the right track.
The global setting you reference in your post works properly, just not for issues that had checklists manually added - you will know them as they have the additional ellipses menu on them above the usual one, like this:
On issues that already had checklists manually added, the checklist will always be displayed, even if it's currently empty. You can manually hide them using that ellipses menu.
With that global setting disabled, you can test it out by creating a new sub-task (I take it you have no template assigned to sub-tasks) and you should see no Checklist interface on it aside from the Add checklist button in the top bar (and maybe a Checklist button in the right panel if you have mobile view enabled).
Let me know if you have any additional questions. You can also use our customer service portal and contact us directly.
Cheers!
Hi @Wojciech Wardaszko
Thanks a lot for your reply.
It's now more clear for me. I didn't know there was a difference between automatically and manually added checklists.
My teammates are not supposed to manually add checklists, I will check this point.
Thanks again :)
ps: sorry for the duplicated ticket in your support portal, you can close it as you answer me here :)

Hi @Bertrand Samson -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
I do not believe that is possible, and perhaps try emailing that vendor directly to see what they say:
Kind regards,
Bill
