We are using JIRA NextGen for tracking statuses of the our individual stories in planned in two weeks sprint. The stories statuses are defined as Development, Awaiting Customer Input, Troubleshooting etc. Every day the person who works on the story update the comments field  with respective updates of the day. I am trying to create a filter for a given sprint in such a way that I can get to see all stories in the SPRINT, their status, assignee, reporter. I also want to have comments entered for a story to appear in results. However JIRA doesnt show the option to select Comments as part of result. The only column available is Backport comments. Is ther e a way by which it would be possible to include comments column of Activity as result of the filter.

@Sucheta Belvi, it's not currently possible to display the last comment in the issue navigator column. There is a suggestion in the Atlassian ticket system that you can vote and add yourself as a watcher to receive updates moving forward.

You can find alternatives to implement it, though. I have already implemented it before using ScriptRunner, you can find more details in this post, but you can find other options/apps to achieve this.

Cheers,
IL.
