Is it possible to increase max ticket number in Issue Navigator?

Is it possible, in the Issue Navigator section, to increase the max amount of tickets visualized per page?

The standard should be 50, we'd need to bump it up to 1000

On Cloud (I believe you need to be an Admin in Jira): Jira Settings > System > User Interface > Default User Preferences 

On Server: ${baseurl}/jira/secure/ViewProfile.jspa > Click the Edit pencil next to preferences.

Thanks Mike, yes that is the procedure indeed! But unfortunately the change has no effect. There's a mention to some user preferences that bypass this default ones I've set but I really don't have a clue on where to find them
