Is it possible to only show Epics with a specific status in the scrum backlog view?

The list of epics appearing in the backlog view is unmanageable for my team. Is it possible to only show epics from a specific status?

@Danielle (On leave until May 2025), On you Kanban board when you click configure you should see a saved filter under the general heading.  Change the filter to include epics that are in a specific status. for example In Progress.

Something like this: OR (issuetype = Epic and status = "In Progress" )

You can filter the Epic List using our plugin

There is an option "sync to issues"  which will allow you to show epics related to Tasks which can be filtered using our search bar.

In the next release we're adding full JQL filtering support for epics & versions lists
