Is it possible to pre-fill Jira tasks using browser URL?

YouTrack has the feature that if I open a URL like mysomething.com/newIssue?title=Foo&description=Bar in a browser, then it will create a draft ticket with those fields pre-filled.

I would really like to be able to do this in Jira too, but all I can find is information on their REST API, which is kind of overkill for what I want.

Does anyone know if this is possible with just a HTTP GET through the user's browser?

Sounds interesting, but I think there is no such feature out-of-box.

Hi @yousuf khan what is the platform jira is running on?  Cloud rest and server rest are not the same.
