Is it possible to set more time estimations for one story/task/bug?

For our stories it would be great if we can give different time estimations. For example: Frontend, backend and design. 

This way our backlog won't get to long and doesn't contain doubles. Each member can log the time for their own specific estimation. 

Also starting a sprint will get a lot easier because we can just select the issues for that sprint and the time will be shown seperately per task (frontend, backend or design).

You can create sub-tasks for frontend, backend, design and assign them separate time estimates.  Time estimates roll up to the parent (story/task/bug).

Thank you for the suggestion, but we tried that already and our developers do not really like the view that sub tasks give on the sprint board. Do you know if it is possible split the time estimation of a single story/task/bug without adding sub tasks?

The very reason sub-task functionality exists is to break the stories into more granular chunks.
