Hi ,

Is it possible to share Jira environments with each other:
Company A: and Company B: both have Jira and are working nationwide on the same project can we exchange issues via an API or is there another way to achieve this.

Hi Eric, issue syncing between 2 Jira Cloud sites is possible via REST API (custom development) or a paid third-party solution (easier to setup) from the Atlassian Marketplace.

Hi @Eric Roetenberg

This is Majid @ Exalate.

Yes, it is very possible to integrate the systems using an app like Exalate. You have a choice of going with the free version of Exalate (called the Basic mode) to sync over a fixed set of fields, or you can explore the licensed version that offers you superpowers to control the integration at as granular a level as you want.

Please let me know if you would like to explore this further and I would be happy to assist.

Thanks

Majid

Hello Eric,

There is a plugin for this process. However, this plugin must also be purchased in the environment for each. Exalate Jira Issue Sync & more | Atlassian Marketplace

This plugin is for connecting, but if you want to transfer projects between each other, you can also do cloud migration for free.  Perform a cloud-to-cloud migration for Jira | Atlassian Support

Best,

Ezgi

@Eric Roetenberg hello. As Dave mentioned, you can sync your Jira instances via REST. If you prefer a bit faster way, you can, indeed, look what's available in the Atlassian Marketplace. One of the 3rd party tools present there, that might help you, is ZigiOps. It's a fully no-code integration platform that connects Jiras (bi-directionally) and syncs their data in accordance with your needs and preferences. It works fast and easy. Feel free to take a look at it. You can also try ZigiOps's capabilites - we have a free trial.

Regards, Diana
