I want to have a database which can show the available tasks, who is working on it and effort spent on the task. Just like a table format. Is it possible to have it in JIRA
Jira lacks time-tracking reports, but ActivityTimeline's reporting section is a great choice for timesheet reports helping users to fill some gaps. Detailed timesheet reports are built like Lego, so you can choose various values and generate timesheet reports in a few clicks!
For example,
1. Progress Timesheets showing the amount of logged and required work hours. It also includes non-working days and a progress bar. You can choose different timeframes and receive an understanding of the work done by users:
or for example,
2. Detailed Team Timesheets help to get more deep data on task, project, user, or epic. You can also expand this detailed report by adding custom fields from your Jira:

You can use the native Jira Time tracking reports. If you need extended functionality you can try the add-on we have developed.
Worklogs Time Tracking & Timesheets
The app allows to filter/Categorize/Group By your worklogs data and a timesheet view too to track individual time spent.

you might consider using time-tracking apps that in most cases have a customizable report of tracked time on issues.
I can recommend our Clockwork Automated Time Tracking & Timesheets Pro, or Free app which offers you the possibility to review timesheets and create reports that can be configured in various ways using break-down and filtering options.
Using timesheets, you can create a report and filter it based on several options including labels, or other fields. You can choose a range for a whole year and break down the data by chosen fields. This information can be also exported to excel files.
Please find below the sample of how the timesheet looks like:

We have a report that can be generated for your team members:
It displays the worked time, billable time, estimated, available time, issues last activity, comments and many more. The goal is to have a clear idea what each team member is working on and what challenges he has: Timescale

Hi,
You can use the build-in "Issue navigator" to view assignee and total time spent, total estimate for each task in a tabular form. You can export it to Excel from the same view if you want. But, if you need advanced grouping or reporting, you will need a time tracking app. There are a lot of time tracking apps in the marketplace. As a vendor, I want to recommend our own app, WorklogPRO - Timesheets for Jira. It lets you filter, group worklogs according to your criteria. You can check list of all capabilities here. It is developed with Forge platform of Atlassian and for this reason, even as a vendor we don't have access to your data. It is cloud fortified too.

Dear @Ramyasree Jayam ,
Yes, you can use Kanban or Scrum boards to visualize the progress of tasks through different stages. You can customize the board to show issues assigned to specific users and their statuses. Also you can create filters to display issues based on specific criteria, such as assignee, project, status, and time spent. These filters can then be saved and shared with your team. Also, you can create a dashboard and add gadgets to visualize the data you're interested in.
JIRA's Marketplace offers numerous add-ons that can extend the functionality of JIRA for tracking team efforts, time, and more detailed reporting.(BigPicture or Advanced Roadmaps, EazyBI Reports and Charts, Tempo Timesheets).
