Is there a way in Jira that you can configure the system so a user can only see their specific project and not all projects in the Jira instance? I have a group of project managers and teams that only want access to their specific projects/boards/issues and do not want to see the work on other projects/boards/issues that are not under their purview or assignment? Please advise if you have time or have come across this issue in your environment. Thank you!
Hi,
access to projects is controlled by the permission scheme specifically by the browse projects permission. The best way how to do it is usage of a project role and then assign users to a specific project role.
If you have some users who can access more than one project, use group instead and grant the permission to this group - for example there is the jira-administrators group who are connected to administrators project role.
