Is there a way to calculate the Reporting weight percentage in jira or using jql

Is there a way to calculate the Reporting weight percentage in Jira. Below is a example a reporting dash board I am trying to create 

                         Reporting weight percentage       Total weight % complete 

Sub-epic                                                                     75%

story                 25

story                 25

Story                 25

I need to sum the Reporting Weight so that I can show the % complete of a sub-epic as the team completes stories associated with the sub epic

Welcome to community!

To my knowledge this can't be done natively, however with scritprunner it can. We use custom fields to accomplish similar tasks but the fields come from Script Runner by Adaptivist.

You can try out the app eazyBI for Jira that allows you to analyze and visualize your Jira data. 
For example here is a measure that I have imported from Jira custom field and at the Epic level, it shows the sum from values beneath.


Also, it is possible to have different standard calculations or even complex calculations using MDX.
