Is there a way to collapse multi line text?

I'm trying to create a multi line text field where if the user would like to he/she can collapse the field so the long texts wouldn't take up the space but the user could also easily access the information if needed. Is there such option in Jira Cloud as of now?

in which view would you like to see this feature - in the "single issue" view? Or in the issue search result?

(I don't really think that this is available anywhere in "native" Jira, but depending on your exact use case, there may be Marketplace apps that might be helpful to you.)

Hi Hannes,

I would like to see this feature in the single issue view. Yeah I kind of figured there wouldn't be an option for it because I couldn't find it anywhere on the community. Unfortunately I would like to minimize the Marketplace usage as much as possible.
