Hello,
There is a project on my company's OnDemand JIRA called "TEST". Half of the employees working in this project have some complaints regarding the multiple email notifications they're getting when an issue is updated, resolved etc. The other half are fine with it. One employee proposed the idea of a daily report, composing all of these updates in one email notifcation at the end of a work day; instead of the multiple and scattered emails throughout the day.
So, with all of that being said; my question is:
Is there a way to compose all issue email notifications, within a project, into one email notification (report)?
Ex: Email received > All email notifications from 5 a.m. - 5 p.m. > Contentness.
Regards and thanks,
Evan Navarro
I think there may be a way to get close to the thing you want:
You could send mails to all members containing all Issues updated in the last 24h. Just compose a search containing all Issues of the project with an update date <=1d and send the result by mail using this feature:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Receiving+Search+Results+via+Email
We are using this to get all Issues with a due Date thats to be reached in three days or less.Maybe you can benefit from this, too.
Evan,
I'm afraid this isn't currently possible in JIRA - this is actually a feature that is being discussed here:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-1369
There's a commercial third party plugin that implement this, but is not available in OnDemand :( :
