Is there a way to create a chart similar to "Created vs. Resolved," except that...

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to present the trend of open vs. closed issues.  The Created vs. Resolved chart will get progressively less detailed as the number of issues increases over time.  What I'd like to see is the "running delta" of created vs. resolved, total created, even perhaps total created of a particular type, e.g. bugs, minus total resolved.  This will generate a graph that, when trending up means my incoming is greater than my outgoing.

Any hints or help?

Hi Scott,

As the out of the box Created vs. Resolved report is not very customizable I would like to ask you what other reporting capabilities do you have in your system? Do you have eazyBI or some other app you can use for that?

In general, I would say that eazyBI can definitely manage that kind of report. I can also recommend "Rich filters" app by Qotilabs. You can use it to create Jira dashboards with lots of different gadgets and filters to create live reports.
