Hi there.
I just started using Jira, and we are testing a new process for project management that require multiple boards and multiple status so every step gets more integrated. So far so good in that area.
The real problem is: is there a way to duplicate that whole structure for other projects? Or even better, is there a way to set some kind of template for new projects?
Oh, and FYI: I'm currently using Jira Cloud.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Edson,
Unfortunately, the feature to copy or duplicate projects is not implemented on JIRA yet.
However, there is a feature open for this to be implemented.
You can access it here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-7020
Please, I recommend you to add yourself as watcher and to vote in the ticket. This way, it will gain visibility to our developers.
If you have further doubts regarding to our policy of new feature, you can access the below link.

As a possible workaround, you can try to use "Shared Configuration" in your projects.
They share some configuration, such as schemes, workflows, issue types, etc.
In the below documentation, there are more information regarding to this subject.
Hi Gabriel,
Thanks for answering. I'm glad that this feature is already on your radar. The Shared Configurations workaround doesn't quite solve my problems because it doesn't share boards, but it's a good start.
