Is there a way to get issues by project using the rest api?

I've been adding ?Project=SomeProject to the url but it does not seem to be filtering by project. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the hasty question. I made a mistake in the url. The url needs to look like this: &jql=project=someproject.
