For example, instead of displaying the "epic link" for each issue, is there a way for it to display the name of the epic it belongs to?

Is there a way to pull an excel or csv that shows the Epic name next to each story?

Hi @jmeurice and welcome to the community!

Epic Name exists only in Epics and not in any other issue (standard or subtask). Therefore, when you try to bring the Epic Name on any other issue type besides Epic, that will be empty. With that said, what you could do is to create a custom field (text) and populate it via Jira Automation, or Post Function, with the Epic Name upon issue creation.

And as a plan B, you could always search for a report app in the marketplace, which could bring the epic name populated.

Hope that helps :)

Hi @jmeurice

Welcome to the community !!

If you would be interested in an add-on to view your entire Epic hierarchy including Epic names in a CSV format, you can try out our plugin

Agile Tools : Epic Tree & Time in Status

The app provides sum up at each level for time estimates and story points.
