We primarily use the email method of creating a JIRA ticket as we have multiple customers who need to log issues with us.
Unforthunately this means that anyone who emails JIRA and has an image in their signature block ends up attaching those images to the ticket.
While this is OK during the ticket creation, if there is a ticket where a lengthy conversation occurs during the fault finding phase of the ticket we can have a large number of attachments on the ticket that have no relevance to the ticket.
I know we can delete attachements individually, however is there a way to remove multiple attachments?
Or is there any plan to introduce this feature as standard?
A tick box next to the attacment would be great or a seperate attachment management screen would also be a great feature.
Thanks in Advance Guys
Hi Ben,
Like Bhushan said there's no option avaliable, and unfortunatelly since you are using OnDemand you won't be able to use that plugin as well. I strongly recommend you to vote for the bug report since the more activity it gets the more likely it is to be implemented!
Regards,
Marlon
Hey Ben,
Currently there is no option to delete multiple attachments at once.
There is an improvement request here for which you might want to vote on.
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-11297
There is a plugin to delete all attachments which you might be interested in if you are using the Download version

I was able to get started on this using the groovy script at https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-questions/JIRA-Delete-all-the-attachments-from-all-the-issues-in-specific/qaq-p/858127
